Robotic activities are featured in today's schedule aboard the International Space Station and space shuttle Discovery complex. The 10 astronauts will use the space station robotic arm to grapple the Kibo Japanese logistics module, or JLP, and move it about 30 feet from its current location atop the Harmony node to its permanent location atop the Kibo Japanese Pressurized Module, JPM. Later, they will activate the Kibo robotic arm system for the first time. Also, astronauts will conduct media interviews with KMSB-TV, National Public Radio and the Associated Press.
