Hi, I'm hoping a few people on here will be able to help with something. I just finished working with a television production company on a program that's going to air this fall on The Discovery Channel. One of the segments is about some of the less-than-successful space launches in recent history. That's why they contact me and asked if I'd be the expert (or whatever lol rocket scientist). Anyway, the producer asked if I knew anyone in the general public who was eyewitness to either or all: Delta 2 GPS failure in 1997, the Titan IVA that failed in 1998, or, in fact, any launches from Cape Canaveal that have failed, and be willing to be interviewed on camera for the show. It's the typical blow-em-up television show that we've all watched on TDC (but much better because I'm in it).

Anyway, they're sending the camera crew back to the area for some interviews. I hooked them up with 45th SW, the REAL experts (thanks to Capt. Millerchip), so they can get some necessary clearances for footage. The producer of the show, Melissa McCarty, asked if I could get some eyewitnesses for them to interview on camera for the show ("Oh my God, it was the scariest thing in my life, I thought I was going to die" kind of thing).

Mainly they're looking for members of the general public, but anyone who may have worked on one of the launches, or news media, etc. is desired. I have media contacts, but I don't know many "regular folk" who were around back then since I moved here in 2000.

The company is on a tight schedule for production, so I figured the best thing for me to do would be to just post here and see if anyone replies. Melissa said it's fine to contact her directly, or you can message me on here and I'll pass on your contact info. We're wanting two or three eyewitnesses. And probably within the next few days or so. Hree's Melissa's contact info:

A little about me... I'm a video/photographer and reporter at KSC/CCAFS, which is why TDC contacted me for help. Anything more, please check my profile or just say "hi". Most people here know me already I think. :)
