Hi folks,
I've been a longtime reader of the Yahoo Groups list, and I decided to come and join here finally.
Its fair to say I am a bit of a space nut :). I am the Vice President for the Southland Astronomical Society (we are right at the bottom of the South Island of NZ), being their go-to person for anything thats human-made in space. I also look after the Awarua Space Tracking Station, that was built for the ESA's ATV launch, and I have a wee radio telescope called "Zaphod" sitting down there.
Anyway, its great to be here. I must admit I am quite surprised by the resources available here. Good job!
