Paul Newman, the Hollywood icon, has died of cancer at age 83, his spokeswoman said.

Newman, whose five decades in Hollywood included accomplishments on every level, teamed with Robert Redford to become America's best-loved "buddy" cowboy stars. What may not be as well-known: Newman's contribution to films about the American space program.
He was the voice of Dave Scott in the 2005 "Magnificent Desolation: Walking on the Moon 3D. ([Only Registered Users Can See Links])" In 2006, he voiced the introduction to Roving Mars.
Newman and his wife Joanne Woodward were one of Hollywood's most enduring star couples. My condolences to Woodward, and all of Newman's family and loved ones.
