Discovery separates from space station

After completing a fly around of the International Space Station, space shuttle Discovery performed a maneuver to separate from the station. Discovery will move to about 40 nautical miles away from the station, where its crew will perform the "late inspection" of Discovery's heat shield, using the orbiter boom sensor system.
