Glad to see this evolution into vBulletin - And to meet again with my old friends from THE-CAPE group, and all the other meeting-places we have gathered at - both electronic and refreshment-serving alike! :)
My name is Tom McKeever and after being at KSC from the 70's on Shuttle C&T through the 90's on ISS, I retired from McDonnell-Douglas/Boeing in 1995 as a Principal Systems Engineer for ISS CMG's, EPS and C&T flight hardware and SSPF design C.E. for the same + more.
Being a Life Member of the Missile, Space and Range Pioners, and a 10-year Docent at the CCAFS Space and Missile Museum, I have been blessed to be able to have relatively unfettered access to most KSC/CCAFS areas since retirement and it is sorely missed now that I have re-settled here in the Mountains of North Georgia, where I pursue my "Ham Radio" hobby and build web pages.
Some of the many that may be of interest are: http://goflight.org , http://spacemusum.org and too many more to list. :o
Again, glad to be aboard.. :)

Hi Tom!
Its great to see you again. It's been FAR TOO LONG.
We figured we'd take the plunge and use Vbulletin as it is awfully powerful software.
Yep, "The Cape" days. Can you beleive it's been 12 years? I've met some of my best friends due to your passion Tom. For that alone, I am in your debt.
Hope to see your posts, they are always interesting. :)

It certainly has been, Rick - I guess I didn't want to be a "drag" on going places and "doing things" with the group because of my increasing energy-deficient state, and sorta faded into the woodwork..:-)
I dunno about my "passion", per se, but perhaps my "rage" at MTM and Robinson/Fox for letting THE CAPE and the 100 Scripts in-work rot. The series was a work of art and created a passion for it's continuation in so MANY of us..
You, however, (AND Jim and Andrew in particular) have my greatest respect for carrying on the torch of KSC awareness with an intensity I could not hope to match! - I've done more lurking than speaking, but support all you guys have done to the hilt!
I hope you will allow RSS here, as that sure makes the communication SO much easier when one can read the activity off-line in a Mailer.. And respond! :Thumbs Up
I still own/moderate over a dozen YAHOO groups (down from 22!), having taken over ISS_SHUTTLE just before it was deleted, and may not be a heavy poster, but among y'all, will sure try!
Hope all is well with you, my friend and Kathleen.. I have sent a number of direct messages to Jim, but I think they are bouncing, as have had few responses. - That is why I shifted to GMAIL - My 15+year Yahoo.com (n@yahoo.com) default address had be ripped off and used a lot for spamming, based on the number of "bounce" messages I see from people I never mailed.. C'est la Guerre! :-)
Tom in North GA "High Country" - 1600 ft Elevation - great "Hamming" location and wonderful, warm people like Brevard used to have! :-) AND no Hurricane alerts! :-))))))

Tom, both Andrew and Jim are members here too. They're excited about the new venture being undertaken I believe. "The Sky's The Limit" you know. :)
We've been using RSS for a few weeks now, it does enhance the experience for sure.

Kathleen is doing great! She works at KSC/CCAFS now too, since last year. You'll have little problem regaining contact with Jim either.

Ok - Where does the link live? - I actually poked around today for a while looking and could not find the RSS information!
Or, to save time: what is the RSS link? :-)
Tom
P.S> - already added Jim and Andrew to Friends/Contacts : >
Oops!
Tom, my bad. I have quite a few incoming RSS feeds, but none out yet.
Tomorrow should be the day when you can find the link.
Err, make that early this week.
Sorry about that.
