KSC boneyard

I have recently heard about the boneyard of old relics that is behind the administration buildings at the space center. How would an individual get access to view the items in the boneyard. The Then and Now bus tour went by the buildings but there was no mention of the items there. All I know is the LUT is in the boneyard. What other pieces of space history are there? This may sound silly and all but to me it would be very intresting to view. Is it possible to walk around the old launch complexes such as Pad 14 & Pad 19? I know that most of the structures have been razed but still would like roam where great moments in space history began.

The LUT relics at the boneyard are long gone. Several years ago, they were removed due to contaminants affecting the grounds there. Since then, this past year a Solar farm has been built to provide additional power.

The up close tour at the KSC visitors center, will get you about as close as you can to current and historic pads and facilities.
