Congratulations to the Direct team for drawing so much attention to themselves and their blog community-developed rocket concept. Maybe Obama will put the Direct team directly in charge of America's space program. That should work at least as well as his health-care reform strategy.
Or, just a courtesy meeting for the self-proclaimed Three Musketeers, perhaps?---> "Thank you for coming and showing us your pretty PowerPoint show!".

Looks like sour grapes all around for McDade. Direct and Commercial spaceflight is getting attention and the standard bearer for Ares I and MSFC is getting ignored.
