Need some SPACE in 2010?
The Astronaut Scholarship Foundation is proud to announce a brand new edition of its Astronaut Autograph Club (AAC). You may never go to space, but here’s a chance to receive a personalized letter and an autographed photo from legendary astronauts who have. Back by popular demand, the 2010 AAC features U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame astronauts and other space icons!
It’s the same club the public has grown to love, with a new year full of unforgettable photos and personal stories from space legends. Members will get an insider’s look at the emotional challenges and rewarding experiences these leaders faced behind-the-scenes. And for the first time ever, ASF is offering a special bonus – other famous names in the space world are joining the stellar line-up of astronauts.
The 2010 roster of star signers includes: Apollo astronauts Rusty Schweickart and Al Worden; Skylab astronaut Jerry Carr; Space Shuttle astronauts Eileen Collins, George “Pinky” Nelson, Loren Shriver, Bob Springer, and Jim Wetherbee; Soyuz cosmonaut Richard Garriott; NASA Pad Leader Guenter Wendt; first NASA nurse Dee O’Hara; and one more to come.
Each membership supports the Foundation’s mission of providing scholarships to college students pursuing degrees in science and technology. Memberships are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and can be purchased in a one-time payment of $499 or in 12 monthly installments of $49.95. Those who join the club will receive a certificate of membership, an archival photo box with protective sleeves, twelve 8 x 10" authentic autographed photos, 12 personalized letters, and 2 admission tickets to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex ($80 value, while supplies last).
