Question Disputes arise inside NASA about Ares 1, is this DIRECT's chance?

    http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/new...rumblings.html

From the Orlando Sentinel... Seems the natives are getting restless inside the hallowed halls of our space agency. It seems a lot of people are most definitely UN-happy about the progress of Ares 1. Is momentum switching to the opposition? Gonna be interesting. For me, I've supported Ares 1, but as time goes on, it's like the light at the end of the tunnel is either an oncoming train or one leaving the station (read: disaster in the making or an unreachable target).

Don't worry, this report from Robert Block is based on reports from unidentified sources. Some of us saw this information days before Brock posted his piece. There is absolutely nothing to the claim that the astronaut office is not signing-off on Ares I. This claim is just more propaganda to boost the morale of the participants in the slowly dying DIRECT 2.0 conspiracy scrum.

The DIRECT 2.0 folks are busy making up stories and swapping them around by email and phone, until these tales emerge as, "swirling rumors from inside sources" in the eyes of bloggers and gullible media observers. It is a sordid game of attaching faux-credibility to pure bull hockey. Brock is either too lazy or too inept to verify the information before he is posting it. His posting merely puffs a little air on the dying embers of DIRECT 2.0. The DIRECT 2.0 thing is enduring a prolonged, reluctant death after failing to follow through with any sort of reasonable substantiation of their claims after the initial mass media splash in the Orlando Sentinel.
