Lockheed Martin Corp. is expanding in the Houston area as it begins work on a NASA contract awarded in 2006 to build the Orion Crew Exploration Vehicle.
Lockheed Martin recently leased additional office space across from NASA’s Johnson Space Center, at 2100 Space Park Drive. Effective Aug. 1, the firm has nearly 60,000 square feet, or two full floors, in the four-story office building.
Derrell Curry of Studley represented Lockheed Martin in the lease transaction. The building owner, Fund II & Fund III Associates, was represented by Doug Little, Wade Bowlin and Erik Haugen of PM Realty Group LP.
Headquartered in Bethesda, Md., Lockheed Martin is a global security company that employs about 140,000 people worldwide and reported 2007 sales of $41.9 billion.
