Kennedy Space Center may be featured in the pilot episode of a CBS reality show involving the makers of "Survivor" and "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."
Filming for the show's first episode is scheduled to take place at KSC as early as next week. KSC and CBS officials didn't provide details, but network publicity material says the show is about people with terminal illnesses who celebrate life and inspire others.
The show is created by host Jeff Probst and producer Mark Burnett of CBS' "Survivor" and by Denise Cramsey of ABC's "Extreme Makeover" and TLC's "Trading Spaces." Episodes reportedly will feature people living their dreams during the time they have left to live. Production of the pilot began in January.
Probst told Entertainment Weekly that the show would be titled "Live Like You're Dying."
Specific information about the KSC shoot hasn't been released, but an employment ad on Craigslist.org seeks a set medic for a "new pilot from Mark Burnett Productions" and says the location is the "Melbourne/Kennedy Space Center area February 12th-13th."
